DAY TRIPS

Line fishing to the Hen & Chicken Islands only 45 minutes run from Marsden Cove Marina. Suitable for groups of 5 -10 fishers in comfort with a maximum of 15 passengers total.

I target Snapper, Trevally, Kahawai, Terakihi & livebait Kingfish and generally catch other species. Also we have an awesome catch record with Snapper to 15.2kgs & Kingfish to 38kg to date.

No idle boast as the photo albums aboard will attest to this. You can bring along your favourite tackle or there is quality rod hire available aboard. Our cockpit is set up with bait stations & wash down facilities, for your convenience. We also have a BBQ and ice box for your catch.

EVENING TWILIGHT FISHING TRIPS

Either to Bream Head or the Chicken Islands. This is a fantastic way to end a summers day & utilize daylight saving time. Particularly suited to those with limited time or perhaps family groups of Mum, Dad & kids. Generally in the evening the wind drops with some fantastic sunsets, flat seas, great fishing & good company. You can bring along a dinner hamper & perhaps a bottle of wine to compliment your evening. A real memorable & affordable trip.

MOKO HINAU ISLANDS WEEKENDS

Fantastic overnighter. Suitable for the more experienced teams with comfortable accommodation for 4 - 6 maximum. This trip targets larger fish including Snapper, King Fish, Sharks & Hapuka. If you don't have hair on your chest, you probably will have after this trip!

BIG GAME FISHING - MARLIN, SHARKS, TUNA

The ultimate challenge, CARA*J is fully game rigged with international tackle, outriggers & game chair, all ready to go. Whether for one or two days or perhaps a 5 day tournaments, your enthusiastic skipper will give you maximum time on water for maximum action. CARA*J has the reputation of attracting gamefish with Tag & Release the preferred option for Sharks and Marlin & Tuna. However the angler always has the option of a "weigh in" if required.
